The house of Penhaligon’s celebrates 150 years of its “fragrant stories” and invites you to “browse the library” and “stick your nose in an exciting new chapter.” On the occasion of this jubilee anniversary, a new edition called Brilliantly British is presented, in line with the heritage of the brand.
Penhaligon’s Brilliantly British is announced as a “dapper scent indeed,” combining the notes of lavender and toffee caramel. “As if swaying lavender had been plucked from a sleepy English garden, and frozen on the spot. Thoroughly traditional. Uncommonly refreshing.”
The fragrance is available as a 100 ml Eau de Parfum at the price of £144, in a bottle decorated with a vintage car illustration and a bow in the colors of the Union Jack.
This year, Penhaligon’s also prepared its eponymous advent calendar in the shape of a perfume bottle, which contains 24 cosmetic products, available from September at the price of £75.
