In 2016, MAC responded to an online petition by Selena fans, launching a limited-edition makeup collection in honor of the Queen of Tejano Music – Selena Quintanilla. The collection has been praised since its launch and sold out immediately. But something new is on the horizon for 2020. On Feb. 25, MAC announced that the best-selling collection would be receiving a “sequel” in April, created in collaboration with the artist’s family and inspired by Selena’s timeless style. The upcoming MAC x Selena La Reina Collection is a chance to revisit the singer’s legacy and her famous love of beauty.
